Need Help On "wxpp" Install !!
i have just got my copy of: windows xp professional !!
all i need to know : if there is somthing i shuld do in order to enshur a perfect install???
i know that version it's a bit diferent from all the others , so i whant to be shure i'm doing things right...

i have visited "microsoft.com" & read all the **** i culd get
my hands on , but it only got my more worrid... so help is needed.

Hmm....Partition Magic maybe might help ya. You could partition your hard drive (using PM) make a small one to install your OS into and keep your files on the other partition.Originally posted by MUSIC_FREAK

depending on your current OS, just do an upgrade.
Or, back up your vital stuff like he said.
I went from 98se, to RC1, to RC2, to Corporate, all using upgrades, and my system was flawless.
I dont know why people are so afraid to install XP, it's like any other OS out there, not to be rude. But it's simple man, dont sweat it.
As far as NTFS, you can use FAT32, that's what i used. Just read everything carefully when you run the Install program.
Or, back up your vital stuff like he said.
