So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!

John McCain is the next president of the United States. We don't even need to go through the hassle of elections.

I was for Obama early on...until hearing more and more about him..and gross inconsistencies in his words. Not that Hildawgs "much" better...but she hasn't done as outright gross of a lie as Obama attempted (and still maintains) about that Rev Wright. The close ties that have already been proven between Obama and that Wright guy who is darned near a terrorist....makes me too uncomfortable to have an associate of Wright in our White House.

I'm still tryin to wake up here but if that's how you truly feel then I can say it's clear you've not been paying attention AT ALL to anything other than the 'Wright' issues since the beginning of the primary season. Hillary has been the candidate that has had issues with the truth ...same with McCain. Obama, with the exception of some gaffes, hasn't gone anywhere near telling the lies Clinton has. Give me an example of an outright lie on his part, please.

The only "good" thing about Obama getting the nod is that it's not Hillary.

As a Republican, I'm not enthusiastic about our candidate either. Awful election coming up. No one truly shines, IMHO.

Where's that link to the Constitutionalist Party...?

No, He didn't. If you want to discuss dubious associations I can go on all day about the Clinton's. I'm still waiting for the outright lie...well....for instance like Hillary dodging sniper fire on the tarmac in Bosnia. Or how about her NAFTA position?.....my favorite, personally, was her bringing peace to N. Ireland and the IRA.

Are we truly having a debate on which politicians lie?

Keep waking up. And you've no grounds to claim if anything is clear or not regarding me. Sillery has truth issues also...but IMO...nothing as clear of an intentional "backtracking"...trying to make it disappear, trying to sweep it under the carpet..that Obama has been attempting as with the Rev W issue.

The Wright issue is a show stopper in my book. To be so closely affiliated with someone so extremely against the US...someone so extremely prejudiced and filled with racial hate...someone that has had such a strong influence in Obamas life....that's scarey to me! I don't want someone on the ends of this Rev Wrights puppet strings in the White House.

We're probably stuck with the Obama/Sillery ticket...and they could beat McCain. The White House will then be mighty interesting. Sillery won't be happy with taking the "all show 'n no go" position of the VP...she will rewrite the roles of the VP like we've never seen before. But that's a whole 'nother book.

Positives? ...You mean like actual issues? It's clear no one in this thread cares about actual issues.....nothing to see here.

What the hell is going on..

Clinton Reportedly Suspending Bid Friday

Clinton Expected To Support Barack Obama

POSTED: 7:15 pm EDT June 4, 2008
UPDATED: 8:29 pm EDT June 4, 2008

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will suspend her presidential campaign on Friday, according to several news organizations.

Clinton is moving to suspend her campaign and endorse Sen. Barack Obama on Friday after Democratic members of Congress urged her Wednesday to leave the race and allow the party to coalesce around Obama, the New York Times said, quoting a Clinton senior adviser.

Neither do I. It makes no sense to do it. Dems are ripe to take the White House and she would only stir up more Republican support for McCain.

Polls showed her winning over McCain last month and Obama loosing to him. Not by much of a margin in either case.

Still a lot can happen between now and November.
