Sam,

Sorry to hear that buddy :( We've had our differences, but they mean nothing, I will send prayers his way. Wish him the best of luck. Cancer isnt fun, but its just another obstacle in life that makes the heart grow fonder.

Im just so sad. I love my dad so much and he has always been a great person I don't know why he deserves this but I have to believe this is God's plan. Maybe it is to bring my family closer (I just don't know) But God will be with him as he is with all of us.

Spammy? My Dad has had skin cancer on his face and neck a few times now and it was removed each time and he is fine. He was freckled red-head growing up and in the Sun alot.

I'm gonna pray for ya, of course, but if yer Dad has to get cancer, skin cancer may be the one he would opt out for. Most are very slow growing.

Will you keep us up to date on this, please?

Of course I will.

It just sucks I am realizing he is getting old. He went from failed kidneys to flash pulmonary edema to congestive heart failure and now this.

I just feel for him.

Thanks zooner I remember the pictures you had up.

I think it was your dad anyway.

But there is no way in this world my dad would call anyone on anything.

Sammy,

My heart hurts for you. You and your Dad are in my thoughts and prayers. It's never easy when a loved one is sick. I know how you feel (as you know my Dad is dealing with Cancer right now too). If you need to talk or just need a shoulder to lean on...send me a message and I'll pick up the phone and be there for you.

Ohhhh man! So sorry to hear about it Sammy! Tell your dad (codex from dc yeah?) to keep positive thoughts, mental attitude and im sure he'll beat this thing! How serious is the situation? I mean, is it treatable?

My dad's girlfriend of about five years or so had her second bout with a type of skin cancer. Recently had a mass of it removed and the doc thinks they have it all...test's shows anyways.

Thoughts and prayers Sammy and EA!!

Enjoy every minute with him Sam that you can possibly allow. My Father was also my hero, best friend, and guiding beacon. Every moment I spent with him created a wonderful warm memory...which I fall back on at any time I wish...no one can ever take those away...I visit with him yet to this day among those memories. He is in loving hands both earthly and heavenly and I wish him a speedy recovery from this latest trial...and peace of heart for you and yours...this is a family time, and as you mentioned...maybe this is to bring you all closer. Angel Blessings!!

things like this always help remind us that the things around us are subject to change. we need to always be appreciating every good thing we have as long as it's here. we don't know what tomorrow will bring, so let's be thankful and enjoy what we do have today. if it helps, keep in mind that the bad things in life may yet turn into good things. never give up hope.

best wishes to you Sammy, and may God bless.
