everything works fine until i get to the point where i first have to select my kit and spawn point and my mouse wont move, i cant hit escape either. The only thing i can do at that point is control alt delete out of there or alt tab.
Its been like this for days now, cant figure out how to fix it.. anyone have any suggestions?

That would be my first step as well. Dont worry Meggie, BF2 will allow you to do a uninstall / reinstall and all your key bindings, ect will remain the same. I'd give that a try first.

If you reinstalled and kept your profile from the previous install, it's possible that's corrupt. Try using the default profile and see if it works. Also try deleting your internet temp files and restarting.
No thats all saved on EA's server for stats. All you would have to do is retype your playername and the password for it..so make sure you remember what it is.. should be on the email you used to signup. Only thing deleting all profile and stuff is going to do is have you go remap keys you changed around and settings for video and audio etc.
