nah, I thought of it about a year ago. The wife was anti-tattoo, but she warmed up to the idea. Plus, I had to wait until we were done having children.
I was hanging out with some friends a couple of weeks ago and was extremely impressed by the work one of them had.
I was surprised at the price, $120.

I have one on upper arm.
I've always wanted one on the boottom of my foot on the order of "Made in USA" or something similar.

i'll certainly be going back to him for my next one, whenever that is.
I tipped him $30 on a $120 bill, he certainly deserved it.
He thought I miscounted the money and wanted to give some back. I had to repeatedly explain the whole $30 was a tip.
The work was perfection, I believe any less would have been an insult.

I was explained by an artist that he wanted to be just as happy with his work as he wanted the customer to be with it.

I don't know if you caught the pics of my new tat from Thailand but that cost about $172 and 10 hours in the chair. He wouldn't take a tip so I purchased some beer afterwards and shared some laughs and got drunk.

for free, I can go back after two weeks and they'll push more ink in.
is that worthwhile? Will it help to keep the color longer?

The best thing to keep the Color longer is to take care of the tattoo.
Like A and D ointment on it for a few days and then keep lotion on it for another couple weeks.
But remember how bad it hurt when you got it..
Well guess what???
It's going to hurt more when they put more ink on it..( but I would go if they will put more in)
But some of it will bleed out so I would take them up on that offer.

yes,it's always good to get them touched up IMO.
after it heals they can see any little spots that they might have missed because of the blood the first time.
no hurry though, give it plenty of time to completely heal first.

only part that REALLY hurt was the last two letters of Lillian's name because they were on bone.
The rest, almost felt good.
I'll give the artist a call next week and setup an appointment. bring on the pain!!
