My sister just called me and said Seth (my step dad) left my mom at a restaurant crying, and she went to the bar there and is drunk now, apparently he just left and she has no way home. I guess they had a big fight.
My sisters husband is on the way to pick her up right now.

i'm on the phone with various people
i live about 45 minutes from her, so i can't just run over there or anything quickly
Chris, my sisters husband, is on the way to pick her up, they are about 5 minutes away, i'm also talking to the neighbors over there which they are really really good friends with, trying to see where she is going to stay for the night
i'm ready to jump in the car if i need to go anywhere though

tell me about it
this has been on-going for years
but she never seems to be able to take that leap that is divorce, come close, but not quite made it, and let me tell you everyone has tried to convince her to do it
this is the worse one though, he's actually never left her somewhere without transportation before

Don't you just wish your parents would just grow up. I know I did. Mine split around 8 times before they called it quits after 40+ years.
Best thing to do is stay out of the way IMO.

in an ideal world i agree, i hate it when people drink and get drunk
your sisters husband is enabling your moms alcoholism

your parents are not being good role models for you
Seth is not my parent, technically he is my step-dad, but i wouldn't even call him that. More like ******* is appropriate.
your destined to follow their heathen path.

I can't believe what some of you are "contributing" to this thread. Brent deserves the same respect here, in this thread, as minir does in his unfortunate family thread.

Just gave Brent the same respect he gives most others.
