Update On My Christmas Bonus

Post by Prey521 »

Well, the source that told me that it would be a $25 certificate to Best Buy was off.......way off!!! We just received it today, and it was a $10 cert to Starbucks. Not that I really cared, but damn EVERYONE got the same damn thing. Even the old school techies that have been here since day one, needless to say, many were not happy!

You know, why even bother? Hell, it's like flipping someone a penny and telling them not to spend it all at once.

OTOH, hey, Starbucks! :D

I opted for the early layoff so I wouldn't have to recieve the cheapest beer on the planet. It worked....Got a great big discount on my new truck topper instead

Probably quite a bit. But I wonder what the managements little bonus was? I'm sure Pfizer is pretty profitable company.

We've been told we are all getting something but it won't happen till the BBQ lunch on Xmas Eve. That's ok though. We can wait. Have a feeling it's going to be a 6 pack of beer in a cooler bag.
The last company... http://www.amcor.com.au ... the factory workers were given a frozen ham every year and they threw a party/boozeup at a pub for 4 to 5 hours, all you could drink and eat. Never cash because of Fringe Benefits Tax charges.

A gift and the bonus of having a job as well. WOW!!! ;)
