help with ethernet and xp

can some one help me or tell me where i mite find the answer I am running xp and I unstalled my linksys ethernet card and when I go in to device manager and tell it to show hidden devices its still there and I dont even have it in the computer. when i go to unstall it it tells me it cant because window mite need it to boot up its not and unboard card.

You know, if you hack your way around in windows you can find those pesky error messages eventually and edit them to your liking as well.

If you find that message you could edit it to something like...

"Yes sir, right away sir, sorry for the inconvenience sir"
