Can I borrow you for 5 minutes?
Well.........I really dig the music tracks but I can do without the "radio voices" and the rapping voice! The music is nice though as is the rhythm.
But what do I know! I still listen to live recordings of the Grateful Dead and I also am into jazz.

messiah, sorry dude......
But what can I say. I'm lost in hard rock, jazz, fusion, and even Harry Belafonte.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
I must agree that the lyrics have a strong hook.Originally posted by messiah:
thats cool.
I appreciate the feedback:
If you dont mind me asking, what kind of music do you listen to?
Lyrically you dont find this track strong?
As you know, I do play some guitar... I typically play blues and BeBop.
My listening interest in music are varied. I love punk and ska... But also love classical, metal, cool jazz, big band, world (rai, reggae etc) and folk.
shant,

"Forever with you. Forever without you...."
Cool deal. I appreciate the feebback once again.
I have one more I would like feedback on if possible:
Reunited This is classic Wu-Tang. The metaphors, and lyrical composition on this is one of the best of Wu. Not too many people feel this track, but let me know what you think.
David,
I also listen to a wide variety of music, I can even stomach some NSync (not that I jam to it however)
I prefer techno, Industrial, and trip-hop. However in the Rap genre: I think WU ownz it.
Anyway:
The feedback does help, as I am going to consider your feedback in a project im working on.
I dont wanna make something super cool, that people will be distracted from becuase of hip-hop. y'know?
So what do you think about Reunited?

about the wu-tang song, why must they use curse words so much? why? it's not needed
ya know some of the problems with our children come from songs they listen to like this!
I liked the song above much better then this song, heh, it's nasty

Wow, I like wutang... pretty tight.. cool tracks and the lyrics flow well.

Perhaps that is part of their reality.why must they use curse words so much? why?
I wish people would get over the "foulness" of cursing. I know your position on freedom of speech, so thats cool. However WU doesnt glamorize the socially corrupt elements that most rap does. If anything they are story tellers.
Witty Unpredictable Talent And Natural Gain.
wu-tang
yeah but kids and teens hear that and then they think it's cool to talk like that, but it's not cool to talk like that, it's not rightOriginally posted by messiah:

For some reason, I never got into Wu Tang, but when I dled that song, I just started to appreciate their music, and have been downloading a lot of their songs, and prolly will song buy their CDs...

So You Wanna Be A Rock Superstar, Live Large, Big House, 5 Cars, You're in Charge, Comin' Up In The World Don't Trust Nobody Gotta Look Over Your Shoulder Constantly
Hey messiah good tracks you got there.
Above the clouds has that WU-bred feel to is...the beat is good and the lyrics go together good.
Its kind of slow moving though.
For me to be in a mood to listen to slower rap I usually have to be st*ned to get the full effect of it.
As for the second track you listed... I like the techno remix better!!!
I'm sure you've heard it, although I can't remember the name of the LP that had it.

Good deal!
Okay, I'm making a film, and was uncertain about which of the two tracks I was going to use. I have decided to use the RZA excerpt from "Triumph" with a chorus provided by Old Dirty Bastard (another Wu member for those that didn't know)
I appreciate the feedback. I'm going to try to use both songs, maybe at the end credits.
Fanta,
Dude- I cant recall the techno mix. I do have the german version of Wu-tang Forever" that does have some techno tracks on it. I'm going to check it out.
btw, click on your name to go to www.thedsc.com They have some hardcore Wu-Bangers there, and they leak alot of wild stuff. I believe tru-masta and mathamatics go there as well. Alot of 5 percenters.
For those that do not know what 5 percenters are- well.
Thanks for your feedback guys.
