Why do people think it bad to let others see the plate numbers?

Thousands of people see them anyway durring the average day...

i think cause over the internet people from all over the world can see it

and someone could trace you right back to your address

i.e. know your location and come after you and kill you

while someone locally could do that too, its just more ~ over the internet

my theory

You guys don't have to post a pic of your vehicle's license plate. Just find one on the net. ;)

We have a few different ones to pick from. This one is the basic plain one. I can't find pics of the other ones.

If I'm not mistaken Gene Hackman described what a Hoosier was in the movie Hoosiers. :)

Yeah, and you know something? Both myself and my wife were in that movie too...we were in the crowd scenes that were shot at Butler Field house during the championship game...we were sitting just above the scoreboard :)

Nope, but one of the girls that we went to high school with (this was shot in our senior year at HS) was, as she had a closeup...we were just part of the crowd, so no compensation, other than watching the crew film a movie...it was interesting - they only had about half the field house filled, so they moved us around a few times to make it look like a full house in the movie...

Here's my license plate from IL. It's a collegiate plate, which part of the license fee creates a unique source of financial aid for college students in Illinois.
