looking for a digital camera for my mom... looking in the price range of about 200-300... doesnt have to be super special, will just be for family picture type stuff, she wont be zooming in on anyone so doesnt have to have that....

throw some cameras at me....

This is an awesome camera for the money and is at BestBuy. I have one and absolutely love it. VERY user friendly also.

the one and MW those were the two cameras i was looking at.... i like the olympus cause its got the NTSC out.....

still not sure though.... thanks for the input

I have a friend who has the olympus as well, and she really loves the camera, speaks very highly of it.

The frog picture was taken with the zoom. The frog in the picture is about 1 1/2" in length.

Whatever you get, it should have some zoom capabilty. Otherwise you're probably saddled with a wide-angle lens.
