is your internet running slower then snot right now cause both my home one is as well as my work one....i'm trying to download icq lite and its only going at 1k a sec!!!!!!

I too am experiencing similar connections. A call to 310-SURF indicates that they are aware of the problem and are blaming it on excessively heavy global internet traffic.
It took me 5 mins just to write this reply.
Try connecting to a sympatico site ... service.sympatico.ca
Like a rocket ... it's local I guess.
I hope that's all the problem is, as I've spent the morning futzing with registry tweaks ... never know how they affect the final outcome.
Please ... others, please confirm your slow connections ...

thats BS cause i'm at work on another PC that uses a different network to get onto the internet and its fast, i think its just there end

Actually it's not BS a major backbone has gone down. One that is outside Bell's network but one they peer with.
