Many thanks to all who served in the military in the past, and kudos to those who guard our freedoms today.

Just a small disclaimer eh?

Y'all know me pretty well. Level headed and somewhat rational. But I tend to get rather irrational when folks break bad on vets. Keep that in mind. These folks defended our freedom....WITHOUT POLITICAL BIAS. So treat them as such. Mercury would have been thankful.

US Army 1989-1995. 101st ABN. Div & 3rd ID.

The important thing is to remember the men and women who are serving right now, the future vets. :)

In addition to the 11 years that I had in the Navy, my father was in the Army for 6 years as a Huey pilot during the Vietnam war...My grandfather (ret. CDR) on my mom's side was a Naval Aviator ('42 - '68), and my grandfather (ret. Lt. Col) on my dad's side was in the Army ('42 - '66) also as a helicopter pilot....

A lot of the pride in the military I got directly from them. I wouldn't want it any other way. :)
