Not sure if you guys know about a little game that can be had very cheaply these days called System Shock 2 but it is one of the scariest games around and the single player game can be played coop with the latest patch.

I think it would make a good multiplay game and you horror buffs around here would get a genuine thrill out of it. You build up your character like in an RPG (Deus Ex style) but fight things in first person.

Problem is it is kind of rare but cheap when you can find it. CompUSA and some Best Buys might have it around somewhere.

Would anyone be interested in hunting down a copy and partaking in some coop with me some time?

If you already have it drop me a line and maybe we can set something up sometime.

Can't believe it got a 2.4 out of 5 in user ratings.

I guess there is no accounting for British taste.

Cool. So we got Roody, Doug, and I.

That should be enough since I have no idea how well the game is balanced for multiplayer. We may have to sparingly share weapons for awhile. :D

Only thing scarier is the AVP2 marine campaign.

This game is freaky as hell, find a copy if you can. It's like $10-15 where it is sold. Uber cheap.

I'm not sure I'm gonna get that one because the X-Box ports have some extras that the PC port doesn't.

I'm not sure if I wanna support that kind of trend.

Blast from the past...

Speaking of scary games, does anyone here remember Phantasmagoria or Phantasmagoria II from back in '96 or '97?

I was just a few screens away from beating the stupid games when my Win95 box died and I just never had time to get back to them. I wondered what the final outgame of either game was?

I still am in love with AVP2. IT is one of the only games that makes my hair literally stand on end and it gives me the goosebumbs.

I still cant get myself to play past the part of the marine mission where you have to turn the power back on and then the aliens start attacking you.

*shivers*

Does AVP2 have coop play through the singleplayer game?
