Hot Winamp 3 skin.. post yours

This is the skin I have right now. It's called MMD3. If you want to download it, go here. It comes with 5 different colored themes. My image is a shot of the default theme.

This is a shot of the "winshade mode" this skin has.

Why have Winamp?

Are there advantages to having this program installed over Media Player 9.0, Quicktime, Realplayer, DivX player?

Does it combine media software so as to remove all these rediculous programs from the system or is it just another additional player to be added for the sure pretense of it's skins?

i can change the colors too. it has a lot of color styles.. including an XP set of styles. I like the default color for it

Winamp 2 was a fantastic small footprint audio format media player. No startup time and great quality. Winamp 3 is teh bloat. On my p200 laptop, wa2 is great, but 3 is slow. So basically wa3 no longer has the advantage that 2 did.

Yeah. I kinda got used to WinAmp (cool Prog) and missed it for awhile. Learning to do with MediaPlayer. Really miss the old Music Locker WinAmp gave at first. Could store 40-50 songs in there, then d/l to CD without cluttering up your HD. When they discontinued that I had to scramble to get my favs out of there on an old 4x CD-R.

Anything left in locker was lost forever when they closed 'em down.

Winamp 2.81 OWNS!! I tried WA3 and it was just a problem. Some of the features would'nt work at all! I got fed up with it and just put back 2.8. I lub it! Mine is called "Steel"

Corner Amp sounds cool, but IMO it doesn't beat winshade mode. These color themes are the best, it even has X-box color themes.

No one uses WinAmp anymore or something?
