Know nothing about networking

ok , i m not a newbie to computers , just i don't know much about networking.

i have one system (mine) (win xp pro)
a dual cpu server (win 2000 pro)

want to network both to share file , just networking them too.

i have hook up on a 10/100 hub sharing internet for now.

now, can someone please guide me to network both computers

That's alot to post. I recommend start by going through some of these posts on this forum. Many of your answers are already here. If you get stuck on a particular issue, let us know.

I can tell you for now, that one of the main hang-ups, will be to make sure the same user accounts exist on both machines, and the workgroup names must match exactly.
