TCPOptimizer question

TCPOptimizer question

before when i used cablenut it was best to install the win 98 patches first other wise your reg settings got messed up.does the same apply to TCPOptimizer as i have a new pc system coming soon and i need some advice so i can get off to a good start.thanks for any help.

There is no reason to apply the patches AND use the Optimizer.

thanks for your reply rmrucker,so basicly when i set my new system up all i need to do is install TCPOptimizer and make the necesary changes and then reboot.one more thing do i need to appy the patch for win98se that makes web pages load faster or can this be done within TCPOptimizer also.thanks once again.

Yes, the settings you are refering to are:

MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server - 20
MaxConnectionsPerServer - 10
