I am in the process of gathering necessary materials for wiring my entire house for network access and pc audio/video that can be seen or heard on any tv or stereo in the house, including the garage.
Shopping around at HomeDepot I found these custom outlet connectors & wallplates that I can snap in Cat5e connectors along with stereo RCA connectors, S-video, etc. etc.
Has anyone used these products before for custom networking jobs? I want to be sure that they are good quality products before I start installing them all over my house. I can't seem to find anyother brand that does this.. does anyone know of similar products?

I also saw @HD the products you are talking about. I don't have experience with this range of products, but I did spend several years in an electrical supply house. I do know that Leviton is well recognized for its switches (outlets and light/dimmers switches). I noticed that Ideal also has some kits you describe. To me they are good at wire nuts and half-way decent at cheap hand tools. To me Ideal vs Leviton = Leviton. Can't think of any other vendors, possibly Wire-mold. ???
No help but at least some insight.
Leviton is the defacto standard among electrical contractors. The majority of contractors get either NORDX/CDT or Siemens, AMP, or whatever certififed and then use Leviton products.
Leviton is cheap and reliable, when you get into ideal or Siemens products your paying for the name, all voice or data products must comply to the Commercial Building Telecommunications Standards (ANSI/EIA/TIA-568-B).
