just ran a bear off my property

Post by De Plano »

Went out to smoke a cig and all of the sudden a dog I am sitting ran into bushes barking. Then I heard something large crashing through bushes. My dog came up and gave his bear bark and chased it off down hill. It was within 100 feet of house. It is freakin 12:30, crazy. I'll keep you posted, unless it gets me of course.

Humboldt it was in between gas tank and compost pile. Crazy, Yosh is still barking at it. Be Leau would get worked if he is not careful. Any way we'll see what happens

No dig camera :( Plus I would rather carry gun than camera ;) If it was not so close I would try and get pics. Obviouslly at this point he is gone, but there will be lots more opportunities once the apple trees fully ripen.

i don't think the bear story is the interesting aspect of your post.

what i find interesting is that you are in the minority smoking.

only dirty peasant stock still smoke in this world. they are the slave class of the industrial age that we live in now. What am I saying? I am saying that because you smoke you are a filthy dirty slave serving us elite types.

Sorry man. I feel for you.

EAT MY CHODE RETARD :) That was the most close minded blanket statement ever, if you are going to troll try not to be so dumb about it. I smoke, and while I am going to quit I do not mind nor bash people who choose to smoke. Now I why don't you go eat yer tofurkey burger light some incense and whine with all your buddys about how unfair everyone is and if they could only understand your feelings because you are so misunderstood. I bet you think ol Linkin Park understands your angst.

Sheesh.

UNLESS HE LIVES WAY OUT IN THE WILDERNESS! Has to fish for his own food, and fight bears for salmon like in that commercial. Then they would just say, well grizzley de plano you should have figured you would have to live with the bears when you moved out there with your dog, luke. Then they wouldn't take care of the bear for him, he will just have to pull out some wilderness kung-fu on the stoopid bear and smack him in the face!

The only time De Plano knows martial arts is when he's thoroughly drunk.

One of my best friends (deceased) grew up in Cresent City....I've been to your beautiful part of the world on several occasions.

Know any Richcreeks?

I've also a long lost classmate that last I knew lived in or around Yuba city. Do either of you know anyone from there?

So Silver you've seen me out there? We finally just arm wrestled for the territory, and I am still here. It was a battle, but I reached over and tickled him and got the paw to the table, oh it was a grand contest!
By the way it is a black bear. Some one shot it's mother a couple years ago, which pissed me off cause he went out and shot it rather than waiting for it to actually threaten his property. All it ever did to him was eat his dogs food. I had it shred a couple of apple trees, and deposit about 20 pounds of unappealing apple sauce, if you know what I mean ;) Any way they were here first, and that is part of the reason I live here. Now if I could just get the mountain lions, to eat those freakin pea****s (got 2 all ready) Humboldt is coming up later, maybe I will get that bear pic after all.

No one in in Yuba City, other than a old roommate. Nope no Richcreeks either, sorry. I live about 35 minutes south of there, still on the coast though.
Now don't tell me I got to stop the bacon fat rub downs! I can't live without the drippings dip in the morning.
Yeah there was a baby like I said a couple years ago (saw it on the driveway 3-4 times but it's mother was shot and I don't know whether it was to or whether it survived, but there is still one here so hopefully it did.
