Project TNT2 (Overclocking And Cooling)

Post by ze2o »

Alrite im working on a TNT2 overclocking project, this TNT2 M64 Pro is equiped with a heatsink and no fan by default. The default clock speed is 125 / 143 and right now it is clocked to 135 / 153. I plan to add a fan (THERMALTAKE (CRYSTAL ORB or Blue Orb) COPPER BASE) this fan can be used with Geforce 2, 3 and 4 MX. Do you think this is sufficient cooling if i overclocked this TNT2 to atleast 155 / 173?

Depends on the yield, and which brand...to what memory they used.

Generally, you could push them all quite high....I remember hitting 140 - 142 on the chip, 155 or so on the mem....that was on an Asus.
