Linksys port death?

Post by Iceman »

Hey,

I've been happily using my linksys 4 port router for over a year now. The past week however, my printer (hooked into port #4)...the light on the router has gone out. I plugged my printer into the other three ports and they work fine. Have tried plugging other devices into port 4 and no link. I have narrowed it down to the port. Have checked the port also, no objects in it, broken pins, etc. Looks completely normal. The settings in the routers setup page are all default, have tried unplugging and resetting router. Have no idea what else this could be. (And it cant be DHCP too few clients because I have it set to enable 50 clients)
Thanks
