O.K. all you peeps from Michigan and surrounding States, Countries, and Continents, a date has been established.
This is the “Final” plan for our Michigan SG meeting, since it’s creation 11/16/01.

When: Saturday, April 6th, @ 2:00pm
Where: The meeting place will be at the Best Western Inn, in Woodhaven, Michigan. We will meet in the lobby at 2:00pm and then move into the lounge/restaurant area, which opens at 3:00pm.
The Bar/lounge area opens at 3:00pm, and the restaurant doesn’t start serving until 4:30pm…their food probably sucks anyway! That’s O.K.; we have many other restaurants, bar & grill, go-carts and putt-putt, bowling alleys within a mile radius of the hotels. (Also a few pizza joints)
The original destination (Hockey Town Café) was blown out the water, due to Baseball opening season in Detroit, and the fact that Detroit City isn’t a very safe haven for visitors. Therefore, we have decided to hold the meeting in a safer atmospheric area…like Woodhaven! (23 miles south of Detroit) We hope that all members within a stone’s throw can make the trek! We (I) will also provide mobile transportation for those members traveling from abroad, via airlines.
Please bring your camera, web cam or any evidence device to capture the moment. We plan on making this event an “all-nighter”…so be prepared!
You will find info below pertaining to accommodations; these three hotels are within 100 meters from each other. Please plan on staying over-night if you are from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois…we need your tourism dollar!
Back in October 2001, this sounded like a great idea to everyone within the area, since then many have changed their demeanor….why? Was it 911 that brought us stressfully together? Or was it just a coincidence? Regardless, we must continue to unite and prosper together as a family! This meeting is the beginning of a new realm, a new generation of technically advanced people that make a difference in this world. We are tomorrow’s future… we are the elite! So please join us in this celebration of Philips dream, help us make it happen!
