I purchased CyberLink Power Packs for Windows XP (DVD/MP3) in Decmember 2001 via download. However, my computer is definatley going to need to be rebuilt (can U believe it, I have only been using it for tow months!). I still have the setup executable and I can use the program right now, but I am going to have to reformat my hard drive at some point soon. I can tranfer the install.exe to a different drive, however, I have no registration/serial number to set it up again. Any ideas?
I contacted the company and they state I will have to purchase the product again eventhough I paid w a CC and they know this! If this is the case I am never going to purchase software via download again.
Thanks,
Alex

Re: CyberLink Power Packs
Burn the install file to a CD. If you still have problems and can't install the DVD pack using their .exe, contact me after your format and I'll get your problem solved.Originally posted by Alex_Select

Actually Amro,
I have their install.exe and it works fine, hwever in the middle of the install it asks me to provide it with rthe serial number which I don not have. I'll spend the $20.00 bucks again, if I have to, but I love Speedguide.net's forums I thought I would try them first. Anything you can do would be much appreciated...thanks.
