if you have that kinda of money and trust your driving skills then it would be very nice..

a prob will be insurnace though...

same prob I have, I've been thinking of getting a newer "Used" car but the INsturance will be a prob..

I drive a 92 Mazda 626 with about 85k miles on it..
I pay about $110/month full coverage (not payed of yet)
In fact I will prolly call the insurance company tommorow just for the hell of it to find out how much it would be for say a "97 Toyota Camry...

if i had 10/20k, I'd get me a nice 71 Olds 442, or a 69 Camaro with the 396 engine.....or a 90's Lexus LS400, or a 90's Infinity Q45.

Oh, If I had 20K i'd get a 2002 Celica GT all maxed out with features

The GTS version is a little more pricey, over the 20K mark, but you can get a fully decked out 2002 GT for $20K if you shop around....

Or maybe like a 2000 or 2001 GTS, that way I'd get the GTS model, and still a VERY new car hehe, 7th gen body style

Just got back from looking at cars at the Honda dealership. In the words of my dads machanic..."How the the hell can you drive that thing? It's being held together by rust for Gods sake." Appearantly, the cooling systems on Saturns is wacky and prone to micro-leaks meaning that you can't tell it's leaking, but it will leak on occasion...

I want a hybride car...68+ miles per gallon...Go to LA and back on a single take...

10-20K for a first car? *cough*spoiled*cough*

You're just gonna wreck it anyway, probably within the year if statistics are any indication.

Hi vegeto

1/2 Ton Mazda or Ford Ranger. Reliable & Practicle.

Honda Civic or VW Beatle. Reliable and Practical.

Real First Car= Buy the Biggest Used Mercury Grand Marquis, Chevy Caprice or Cadillac you can get. Put on new Brakes and Tires n Shocks.

That way when you have your first accident the odds are on your side, plus they are reliable as well.

regards

Used XLE Camry. Has a beaut of a V6 in em, 185 hp, four doors, reliable does not even begin to describe how well they run. Not too bad priced either, prolly find one with 20-30k miles on it for 17-20 k. You being in Cali helps too, no salt from icy roads. I have ridden in a few XLE camrys, and they are nice. I bet you could shop for awhile and find one loaded with 30k miles for somewhere in yer price range.

well you shouldnt even spend over 2k for a first car....like someone had mentioned earlier, you are going to wreck it within a year more than likely....esp. if you are under 18 years of age.

i wish someone could get that through jay and his moms damn head...sheez..

anyways, to what you had later replied with...if i had that kinda money i'd get...an older model of the VW beetle and get it fixed up...new paint job, new engine, tinted windows, etc...make it look real smooth
