it was supposed to end up 18x, then divide that by x, so you get 18...

oh well... it appears you got the gist of the idea, I guess my calc-making skills are no better than my calc-doing skills :p

Actually, that is not calculus, but simple algebra :p

the y in the dy didn't cancel out anywhere.. but that's okay, just say18 y stands for 18 years :D
