IRQ conflict?

Post by Lightfoote »

just upgraded to broadband cable...i dont have any usb ports so im using a nic card to connect ...my problem is i also need a nic for my LAN and the two nic cards wont run together...i think this is an IRQ conflict since both cards are using IRQ 11...windoze 98 says there is no conflict though and if i try to change the IRQ it says it cannot be changed...i dunno if this is even the problem so im just guessing...if i delete the driver for the cable nic my network client is available...but when i load the driver for the cable nic i cant access the client...can anyone help ?

are you using the same exact network card for both lan and internet?
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.
