I don't know alot about hardware, and just wondering if what I got is good or not.
all the hardware is very good in it, I don't know what your purpose will be with it, but it should be good for most things.
The only thing I would have rather had WinXP Professional instead of the Home version.
Also if you are going to do gaming on it I'm not sure how good the Rage Mobility M6 graphics chip is. I will do some searching on ATI's site and see if I can figure out what it can do.
Other then that that is some good Laptop

ok i was just looking here http://www.ati.com/na/pages/technology/ ... 5&doc=15#2
but I don't see a Mobility M6, I see an M4 though?
What brand/model Laptop is that, I'll look up it's specs too

WOW, thank you all very much. I appreciate the responses. I will use the laptop for internet use mostly. I am not into gaming (38 year old "geeky" housewife
). I have a desktop computer for most things, just wanted the "extra" toy.

I paid 1200 for it John, that to much? Was an early Christmas present that my husband said I could pick out for the money he gave me to spend on one.
the 15" lcd is very large and nice, probably what makes it a little more espensive, but worth it
