yo what the hell is with that imagine garbage "imagine being able to remotely search a hard drive XX% complete" then "imagine being able to remotely copy hard drive XX% complete" at the bottom of the IE window on the dirt (second link in uod's post) ccnn website ive heard of malicious sites that can do some god awfull stuff to your pc but is this even posible just in case whatever you do DONT click the link in the pic of new york and uncle sam

Sooooo....your going up against Rumsfield? Keep in mind that with the new terrorist laws, there are clause's designed for hackers. A lot stiffer penalties. And if someone decides that your are also a terrorist, with the new tribunal, no one may ever hear from you again.

Good find BigJim...and remember...McAfee Virus Scan is built into Win98SE....that could be one backdoor of many.

This could be a big blow to McAfee as the author suggests but how many people will realize the implications to have such an impact?

I always had an interest in law, but it wasn't until a year ago or so that I got really into law, specifically comm. law. When you recieve a dozen C&D letters from the MPAA and a summons to appear in court, it kinda gets your attention. :p
