no xp start menu pic
i am always logged on as the admin on win xp pro (corp.) and there is never a picture at the top the start menu here is a link to a pic of it.

ok go to control panel/user accounts/changes the way uses log on or off/then enable the log on screen after i did that on mine the little pic with my name showed up on top of the start menu hope it works for you too
