Turned up nil on your search Bala (Mercedes/Daimler Chrysler, Siemens),could only get the execs but not their salaries, and for Porsche, you need to be a little more specific since Porsche is only a subsidiary of a larger auto maker and I don't know the name of it :)

Friend of mine is a engineer in St. Petersburg, FLA. He worked on the new Aston Martin dealership somewhere in Fla, and told me this tale.

While he was out looking at a aite with the new store manager the manager said this happened:

Micheal Dell called the store and asked that an Aston Martin DB-7 of every color be brought to the airport. The store manager was a bit short on help and said that it would be VERY difficult to get them alll there. Dell said it would be worth his time to do so. So 6 or 7(I can't remember) DB-7's were waiting for Micheal Dell at the airport. He bought them ALL. Gave them to the board directors. That store manager made MUCHO dollars that day in commisions. I'd guess this is true, Dell is quite a rich man.

Same story.... Different country.

What is totally immoral is the severance pay some of these CEO's get. Some payouts are given when the CEO has failed to do the job and the company has lost because of his/her decisions. The company pays out big time to get rid of a liability.
One of our CEO's was paid out after losing au$350m. on non profitmaking company purchases. He recieved over au$1m. and shares for leaving. Took 4 years to recover and sell off the bad performers. That compared to what the worker gets for putting in the hours.

Great info Prey. Don't get into trouble, will ya!!!!

nocturnal... that site is great. I tried to find one that does a similar job for Australian CEO's. No luck yet. Maybe my Union will know the address.
