Important Question About car payments

Post by Jesse23 »

My mom got behind on her car payments by like two months. We lease the car. She doesn't have the cash to pay it at the moment and they keep calling to get their money. So in the worst matter they come and take the car away. Would we ever be able to get the car back or does she just loose it and all she put into it and lose her credit or what? From what I thought is that if they take it, you have time to pay it and get it back for a fine.

I've only been late with payment for 1 month. I think that they'll take the car after 3 months and sell it to someone else and you will lose all that you put into it. Maybe she can borow some money from a friend to make the payments that way she will get them off her back for now and figure things out

NO NO NO...if she is buying...three months

leasing...they will NOT wait that long...

if she is 2 months late now...they are probably around the corner with a towtruck waiting for night time and you to go to sleep

do what my buddy did...he borrowd my ROTT for 3 days and tied him to the bumper until he got paid

That is not my question though. If they do take it, does she have a chance to get it back?

It all depends on the loan/lease company, they may require her to just payback the back fees or they may ask for the total amount due on the lease. It all depends on what her lease policy is.....did she try calling to make some kind arrangements to get back on track with the lease?

Good Luck, BMED

Talk to the company, is she getting paid soon? Normally they will extend it, as long as you show you are working with them. Make sure to communicate with the loan place. Make sure they know when and how much you can pay. Normally if you stay talking with them and let them know you intend to pay they will go easy. Its when you just ignore em they get all p1ssy. Normally.

Communication ALWAYS helps :D If she blowing them off, then they are less likely to be flexible or work with her :( good luck
