Welcome to SG.

Ask that question over on the tweaking board. You'll get more input.
People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Bandwidth Up 151 Kbits/sec
Average Ping 55 ms
Ping Loss 0%
TCP Receive Window xxxxxxxxx
External IP Address xxxxxxxxxx
Internal IP Address xxxxxxxxxx
Browser MSIE 6.0; 5.1
IE current cache 0 MB
IE max cache 5 MB

I use a Linksys LNE100TX(v.4) and i find its a great adapter, easy to install and easy driver installation also.
I had a D-Link befor this one but it wouldn't stand up to my system being overclocked via the front side bus.I've seen no troubles like that with the Linksys.

I use 2 Linksys Eitherfast 10/100 Nic's and a Linksys BEFSR41 V2 Cable Router to share my internet connection. The router was very easy to set up and had everything up and running in less than 5 mins. Upload and download speed has stayed the same and ping rates are excellent with no packet loss.

NICs

Post by EdTo »

Linksys and Netgear are the 2 best buys for NICs in that price catgory. They perform faster than 3Com and Intel pro NICs.
D-Links have driver problems with Win'95(O,A,B) and Win'98(O) but work graeat if you can solve that problem, but for the same cost i would suggest Netgear FA-310/311/312 as the best overall cards for broadband internet.
