Well, the regsrv fix is for @home, you are on Road runner.

Your IP address comes back as 24.167.10.x, doesn't appear to be going through a proxy. Does this agree with the IP shown when you run winipcfg?

What IP address do you have? If you wish, you can email me.

Is it of the form 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x?

Umm, @home is another cable service. Road Runner and @home are the two largest in North America.

Your IP address results from Network Address Translation, or NAT. Are you behind a router? If not, your provider is doing NAT. I wasn't aware that Road Runner did that.

Has it always been this way?

What do you need help with? What you've reported thus far is normal behavior for a system behind a router.

We'll try, but need to know what the problem is.

Thanks,

ahiehelp is a piece of software installed by the @home setup routines. You are not on @home, so you don't have it installed, should not have it installed.

Your IP should be different. That is what a router with NAT is supposed to do.

It is correct. That is your IP on the Internet.

Your IP on your network is the 192.168.x.x address.

The router translates one to the other.
