Open Gl is a rendering mode for hardware.

There is no need to download anything except maybe drivers for you hardware.

For what do you need the OpenGL for? If you are using OpenGL mode for a game, often the latest drivers for your video card will install the correct files, plus for some hardware, downloads such as GLSetup are used. Often the game will add any other files needed.

But first lets find out what game you're trying to run, and what hardware you are using, with which driver versions.

Post pics, or write down the exact error and when it gives it to you.

Tell us EXACTLY what your in game video settings are.

As well as your driver version.

Try that proggie...

You say the latest drivers, but I've set to see Quake 3 give a hiccup with any nVidia card with properly installed reference drivers. What version drivers?

My drivers don't seem to be working perfectly because my card seems to be in PCI mode and it shouldn't. Also in the manual it shows more options under Direct3D that i don't have. But I don't know if the manual options are only there because of the out dated drivers. Anyway I have the detenator 3 drivers version 12.41.

My name is Brent and I am a freak, WickedGL is for 3dfx Voodoo Chipsets only lol

this person has an NVIDIA GF2 Pro card, so all that is needed is the drivers, WHQL 12.41 from NVIDIA and maybe run GL Setup if it's still not working.....
