One thing wrong wiht CS is that with most servers Admins arnt on and noone boots. There was this one guy that was obviously cheating cus he kept getting 5 kills and 4 of them were from beind Boxes and Walls. I have almost never seen anyone seen anyone get killed through a wall ( always though they were too strong for bullets to penetrate). This was in the HOMELAN Federation server. Noone booted him. That just pissed me off. One person who belonged to HF was in and i was cussing him out since he couldnt do anything. He just said you all better watch him better or you will get booted. Yeah hes gonna keep the cheaters and ban the true players. Game like Rogue Spear may be slower and have bad net connections, but at least host are there and can boot the cheaters. Also Rogue Spear has a better chat program which can be used to find cheaters much better than CS. In CS You cheat you get caught you just change your name and BAM you can cheat again. CS is fun when the cheaters are allowed to stay in the game. I know this isnt for everyserver, but there are about 11,000 servers and most of them the host isnt even playing so that means one person can ruin the fun for everyone. Arrrrrrrg Im just mad.

GET SOME SKILL AND STOP CHEATING ,,, WHY CHEAT WHY??

Yah pisses me always off too at some off these low grade public servers, personally I go to servers which have admin_mod/recon installed their usually the best.

at my [MiB]clan server theirs usually admins there all the time, kicking cheaters/ff, tk'ers. The servers in Toronto, if you would like to try it our main one is at this IP

I hate FF, but thats cool. One more thing about CS is that there is too many people and no way to keep track of anything. In my main game Rogue Spear we know which clans are best. In CS the only clans i know is the one i am in and the ones i play with. CS is good, but it draws back in that area

Ya it takes a while to get immersed in the clan world in CS, but for that kind of information you should look at the clan leagues eg. OGL, CAL, RITD, and a bunch of others, or try watching some demo's of other clans at: http://cs.xsreality.com/

(X|3 would probably be the best clan now, they've won the CPL tourney 2 years in a row)

CS is too big and im not that into it (into it enough to get good). I really dont care what clan is #1 all i care is Good old fashin people. Meeting friends is better than being #1 =\

theres a couple of hacks to bypass punkbuster

, only if they updated to a newer version then that would hold off the "game hax0rs"

Cool cool, yeah there are hacks to get by punkbuster and i heard that it slows down your comp. I really need all i can get out of my Comp. The way i see it is that Punkbuster is a waste of Ordiary Skilled player time and a Genuine Opportunity to Bypass the Punkbuster and cheat. I mean what if somone gets 6 headshots everygame in a server with punkbuster. Will you really accuse him of cheating? Yes, but WHAT ABOUT PUNKBUSTER ON . See my point.

Basically punkbuster slowing up your computer rumour, is pretty BS, it takes up like 1k of your bandwith. It doesnt slow me that much because it doesnt hog memory and other resources vital for CS. I have a low end computer, so I know the struggles with lag (366 celeron, 64mb Ram, 4mb Ati vid crap)

Usually putting PB mandatory on servers cut downs on cheaters bigtime, but many people do not want the hassle of PB and move on to other servers. From experiance the best solution is making it optional, for the really good regulars at a server to prove their skills they should keep it on. For those who visit the server occasionally they don't have to hassle with PB. If some one is doing really well (cheat like) admins can just ask the player to turn on PB to clearly show to the nay-sayers that he/she doesnt cheat.

. Im a wanderer so i hate it when i come across a server that has punkbuster when all i want is a fast game.

I agree it can be sometimes a hassle, as for slowing down our server, or systems, nope. But then again we all have cable and a few have DSL. Not to mention probably what would be considered upper end PC's. And of course there are ways to get around PB. But, if you used it quite often, you would notice that it does update itself fairly often when you connect to a PB server. I am not saying it's perfect, but it sure does help quite a bit.

Yep. 1 is a lot better than 25. And, at least there is SOMETHING that helps... you should see the other game my Clan (actually squadron for that game) plays... It is awful. I wish that it had PB support.
