Question re. CableNut and CCS settings

Post by MrFizzbin »

Greetings all,
I have just recently installed CableNut into my Win 2k Pro system. I am required to install one of the CCS files. It would seem that I have a choice between:
"cable_Normal_2k.CCS"
"cable_Fast_2k.CCS"

How do I know which file is appropriate for my particular cable modem and ISP (Motorola Cyber Serfer / Videotron Cable Co. Is there a test I can run or info. buried somewhere that will tell me?

p.s., while I'm at it: this particular modem wouldn't be "uncappable" would it?

Thanks all in advance.
