pc game backup????

Post by mike_es »

a client of mine has asked me to do a backup copy of The Sims for her,but the writer only copies 469MB of the 488MB on the disk.I found some zip files named as .cab, renamed but winzip couldn´t recognise format .Any ideas about software that could copy the full disc or is she just going to have to make do with the original?:2cool:
P.S. Copied the disc to hard drive first and the folder only shows 469MB as well.

Alot of CDs have hidden data on them to prevent piracy. The sims is no exception. You can make an exat copy of the cd using CloneCD or you can use CDRWin in RAW mode and then download the patch so you can still play the game here.

Hope this helps :)
