Does anyone know of a good program for setting up an ftp server??? I have cute ftp but I don't think it runs as a server.

thats a good question one im having troubles finding out myself. the links i was given on another post didnt unfortunately help much. any ideas anyone?

I have used a program called SERV-U in tha past. It seemed to be a nice simple FTP server.

I run Serv-U, it's okay for the average user. Here's a copy..

Thanx fellas....I'm just getting started so simple is good. I've got linux installed and I can't figure that out either so go figure.

No problem.. Umm.. One thing though, Serv-U only runs on a Windows platform. Don't know if you want to toss Linux and do Windows for this, but figured I'd let you know.

I've been trying to figure this out all day and still can't. Anyone know of a good site maybe that I can read up on this stuff about ftp's and how to use and manage them?
