How can I check to see if I have AGP 2.0?

Post by ExtremistAS »

I am going to get a new video card in about 2 or so weeks. Most of the ones I am looking at require AGP 2.0. How can I make sure I have this installed? I am currently using a nVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 Pro if that helps you to find out if I have AGP 2.0. If I do not have it is there anyway I can get it?

I believe 2.0 refers to 3x and 4 x agp spec. If you run Sandra2001 you can then check out the spec under the motherboard heading. you can check you mobo handbook. It's nothing you install. Either you chipset can handle it or not.

Post you mobo name and id and we'll take a look if you don't know how.
