I used to use Win 98 to serve on IRC and it works fine
but after I format my comp and use Win2000 it can't work anymore
What's wrong with it ?

In IRC I can't DCC chat, send.
oh, yeah, and so ICQ.
Is it because Win98 has different protocol with Win2000 ?
Is there someway to configure it out ?

Are you sure that the versions of IRC and ICQ are compatable with win2000?
There might be newer versions that are supported by win2000. Try http://www.download.com and make sure they say 2000.
