Hey man been meaning to ask you this, what do you d/l files at...Like from happy puppy...I was runnin like 40KB/sec now I am up to 90KB/sec and I was just wondering how fast you are doing this at
ok ...I figured as much....mine still sucks hehehe...got another question maybe you can answer..I can d/l one file @90KBs and up to 4 more at 50KBs ...then how come I can't d/l the first one at lets say 250KBs with no others ??????????
Well I can only think of 2 things, one you have a bad motherboard, maybe you can find a online test for it and 2, the cable company
is flakey, but do check out the motherboard as I hate to see you on a dialup
Wouldn't know where to begin on the mobo thing...I got my old comp back from my bro..got them side by side....I tested them both the same way both get about the same d/l speed so I would think it ain't the mobo..both got diff ones....Just was curious man
ok lets dare to forget about speed for a minute hehehe....do you think it is possible to just get my latency and pings under control?......I realize speed and latency kind of go hand in hand...but I got to salvage the rest of this month before I go back to 56k
I doubt your mother boards bad just to old to do what you want it to do.If it were bad you would no. Believe me. When they go bad they do all kinds of weird things such as shutting down for know reason. Plus just plian not starting up only when they feel like it. I would just say it can't handle what you are asking of it. I could go on with the weird things they do but Iam not going to. To really find out if its bad you need to buy I circut tester. But I really don't think it is.
