Hey ppl! I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of moncabelx.exe? Its a speed increasing program that works wonders, so I've heard. I REALLY need to find it. If you can, or have it, or know where it is, please email me. lowiq@westman.wave.ca
Probably a trojan horse program or some other crap. In all reality, changing your RWIN is all thats going to help. Some other settings may boost your speeds a little. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to keep searching for the Foutain of Youth...
Hey! Ya, I know. I've searched everywhere... with no luck. It's a guy I work with that told me.. he has it installed, but doesn't have the installer for it. He said thats what its called. I guess its a program used by the ISP (he got it from a tech there) that they use to reprogram the modems with or without the limits. So, therefore you could just increase them a bit. Sounds very interesting for me.. lol.. BTW, the cable modems are COM21 DOXport™ 1010 Cable Modem. If anyone could find anything out about this program, or even just find it for me... That'd be amazing. Thanx
Funny my brother just got cable yesterday and thats the modem they gave him, I'd never heard of it but his provider is Comcast@home and with just a little patch at night at (9:00) CST he was getting 532KB d/l so the modem must be alright.
