IE 5.5 & speedguide.net tweaks etc. help

Ok I did the sppedguide.net tweaks and have IE 5.5.... my problem is whenever I visit a webpage for eg. [url=http://www.yahoo.com,]www.yahoo.com,[/url] [url=http://www.altavista.com,]www.altavista.com,[/url] etc. most likely i get a message saying "The page cannot be displayed" and i always have to press "refresh" in order for the page to come up.. before w/o the speed patches i've never had to do that.. Why does this happen?? How to fix it?? Anybody wit the same problem??? Some feedback would be nice..

Never heard of that problem but you may need to repair IE here's how:
To repair IE
Go to contol panel,add/remove programs
Select IE and internet tools from box
Click remove
A box will come up asking if you want to repair or remove IE
Click on repair
