Folding Slow Down

Post by DIDS »

Has anyone noticed a slowdown in processing WU's? I use to process 1 unit every 2 hours. Now I am lucky to process 1 unit every 6 hours.

Hey DIDS,
It all depends on what you get.
Villindes seem to run slightly longer than villins,
actin bindings are the worst of all
and hairpins are the best that you can hope for.

ahh, that helps a lot...hehe, I thought my computer was messed cause it would take me 2 hours per unit (instead of my normal 20 min or so)

Hehem I scan disked and defrag...it did help...but I guess at the same time, I got a different protein to fold :p

That explains it. I seem to only be getting Protein: ACTIN BINDING lately. Atleast it isn't something wrong with my PC. Thanks for the Info!
