Well it looks like today 9/27 is the day. NE seems have CPU and Mobos for sale. I'm really interested in seeing the Mobos and the specs.

Nice!

Intel also announced their 13th gen processors yesterday, 15% single-core, up to 41% multi-threaded performance boost, but they're not out yet.

I'm not seeing the previous generation of Ryzens dropping in price yet (or like I was hoping). I'm thinking stock may have been so low during the pandemic that there's not a ton of old 5000 series Ryzens laying around.

$500 mobos, ouch... I'd wait a bit.

Actually the ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI 6E Socket AM5 is only $329. The mobos with an "E" after the X670 indicate "Extreme" models and usually sell at a premium. There really seems to be a smorgasbord of features and prices for this new series.
