Is WiFi Router Device Polling Possible?

Was wondering if such a thing exists in an effort to keep less used wireless devices from detaching from the network.

WiFi clients disconnecting is usually a sign of very weak wireless signal, noise/interference, unreliable wireless hardware/drivers, or very congested wireless network with too many clients that the router can't handle. Another reason may be the client device trying to connect to multiple APs.

You shouldn't really need polling.
