Does anyone know if port 9980 is important? I noticed it's vulnerable to tls 1.0 and I wanted to just disable it all together, but dont' know if that'll blow something up.
What are your thoughts?

If you are not using it for any specific service, you can block it, I don't know of any default/specific/important service that runs on it.
Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits), even though my tin foil hat is regularly audited for potential supply chain tampering. I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.
