LAN and RWIN

Post by gandjar_k »

Hi speedguide guys,
thanks so much for veryusefull advice in this site.

But, i would like to know my following conculsion is right or wrong :
you suggest to use RWIN 372300 (for LAN), then i still dot satisfy with the result, then I change the RWIN to 401500 and I find
incridible increase in page download while browsing :) i am very happy.

But then I find, that setting value cause a decrease speed in file transfer (e.g using ftp or any download file activity).

Then I test the value above 372300 (i just tested until RWIN 452600), which result a conclusion : higher RWIN increasing page-download speed but decreasing file-transfer speed.

am i correct ?
(since i seldom to download/transfer a then i like the value 401500).

tot ziens (seeyou)
