CABLE MODEM HELP

i just got a road runner cable modem
and web site load up fine
but whenever i try to download something it says operation timed out
any ideas of how to fix
RR tech sux for my area their no help

Are you trying to download the same thing all the time or going to different sites? It may be just the site is down....
