In NIC Optimization Article, it is indicated that some features should be disabled because they are poorly implemented. Realtek is explicitly named. I have an Intel I218V Ethernet. Does the same recommendation holds true?
Intel's implementation works.. as well as newer drivers/OS. You can still disable it if you want though, I almost always disable most "Offloads", especially for gaming, or with onboard NICs.
